Are you an experienced production planner ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Planner to oversee scheduling and production planning across our API, Pharmaceutical, and Packaging lines at our Morpeth facility. This is your opportunity to optimize production processes while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.



Responsibilities:


As a Production Planner, you will play a crucial role in facilitating seamless production operations. Your main responsibilities will include:


  • Production Scheduling:Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules that align with customer demand and maximize production capacity. Work closely with key stakeholders, including procurement, material planning, and quality control, to ensure material availability and resource capacity.
  • Resource Management:Guarantee that raw materials, line capacity, and labor resources are meticulously aligned with production requirements. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to tackle resource conflicts and enhance production flow.
  • Order Management:Partner with sales and customer service teams to verify production timelines and delivery commitments, while diligently monitoring order status and providing timely updates to pertinent stakeholders.
  • Performance Monitoring:Track production progress, swiftly address delays or disruptions, and analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and suggest continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communication:Act as the central liaison between production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure alignment and proactively resolve any issues. Regularly report on production performance metrics and provide insights for ongoing enhancements.
  • Compliance and Safety:Ensure all production activities adhere to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.

Who We’re Looking For:


  • Qualifications:Ideally, you hold a degree in a relevant field that equips you with the necessary technical knowledge.
  • Experience:You have at least 3 years of experience in production planning and scheduling, with a solid grasp of materials requirements planning and the supply chain processes that affect customer service.
  • Skills:You demonstrate exceptional service orientation and a strong customer focus, coupled with proficiency in SAP/ERP systems.
