How You Will Make An Impact

  • Meet and exceed performance goals within your line/zone, ensuring targets are achieved on an hour-by-hour and shift-by-shift basis.
  • Provide coaching, support, and development to a team of up to 15 direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory policies and GMP standards within your zone.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on value-added activities to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support the Senior Group Leader in recruitment, selection, and training to build a skilled and capable team.
  • Report on operational performance and take action to address any performance gaps across hourly, shift, and monthly metrics.
  • Cultivate a safety-focused environment, ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards and maintaining a zero-harm workplace.
  • Manage the deployment of Lean tools (5S, TPM, Standardized Work) and handle people management tasks, including appraisals and absence management.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous team lead experience in a production support role, demonstrating leadership and operational expertise.
  • Extensive experience working in a controlled manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in Math and English, providing a solid educational foundation.
  • Advanced IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other software tools.
  • Moderate GMP training, with a solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and related industry standards.
  • Proven ability to manage compliance and drive continuous improvement in a regulated setting.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and support teams.
