Production Chemist – 18 month FTC

Location: Guildford, UK
Work Schedule: Shift Work (8-hour shifts - midnight start)
Eligibility: Must have full right to work in the UK on a Permanent basis

About the Role: As a Production Chemist in a GMP-certified facility, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality pharmaceutical products. Your expertise will ensure that operations meet the rigorous standards of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate and maintain production equipment according to GMP guidelines.

  • Monitor production processes and perform quality checks to ensure compliance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency.

  • Document and report on production activities and outcomes.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production.

    Qualifications:

  • Degree in a life science subject (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology).

  • Previous experience in any production/ manufacturing setting is essential.

  • GMP understanding beneficial but not essential

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

  • Flexibility to work night shifts.

  • Due to the location and shift times, it would be best to have your own vehicle
