Product Manager – Faringdon - 9-day fortnight – up to £55,000

This is a great opportunity for someone with commercial experience to play a pivotal role in this company’s commercial team. The Product Manager will report into the Commercial Director and will be help drive business growth by managing and developing the company’s medical and pharmaceutical product lines. The role of Product Manager is an exciting new role within the company and has been created due to growth and will suit someone with a commercial background ideally within a pharmaceutical or medical product but candidates with a similar commercial experience within another manufactured product industry are also encouraged to apply.

The roles and responsibilities:

As Product Manager you will have the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Product lifecycle management of existing products

  • Provide market assessment, pricing and distribution strategies

  • Research international markets to target new sales channels with existing or new products

  • Help create and develop a product roadmap for products using industry knowledge and research

  • Identify product gaps

  • Monitor global trends and measure competitors

  • Define product pricing and market positioning strategies

  • Liaise with compliance and other teams to help design and roll out new product packaging options

    The requirements:

    To be suitable for the role of Product Manager you will ideally have the following skills:

  • Commercial experience within medical products or manufactured products (doesn’t necessarily have to be medical or pharmaceutical products)

  • Ideally a background with regulated products (not necessarily medical)

  • Experience working on projects or the skills required to work on projects – you will be organised, able to prioritise and used to liaising with other departments

  • You will have strong problem solving skills and excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • This role is based in Faringdon, Oxfordshire but will require some national and international travel, therefore a driving licence is required for this role

    The package:

    The successful candidate for the role of Product Manager will receive the following package:

  • Salary - £45,000 - £55,000

  • 10% bonus

  • 25 days holidays plus bank holidays

  • 4% pension contribution

  • Working pattern is 9 day fortnight

    • Friday finish at 1pm

    • Every other Friday off

      Location:

      The role of Product Manager based in Faringdon, Oxfordshire and is commutable from Oxford, Swindon, Abingdon and Cirencester.
