ROLE OVERVIEW


We are currently looking for a Product Development Manager to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Cambridgeshire area. As the Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the businesses products in the commercial phase, ensuring they are robust, reliable, and ready to support patients.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Your duties as the Product Development Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:


1. Provide formulation and analytical technical expertise to support the robustness of commercial products, specifically the manufacturing processes.


2. Build and develop strong working relationships with new and existing third-party vendors.


3. Lead the trending of product performance from a technical point of view, conducting gap analysis, reviewing stability data, and manufacturing process efficiency.


4. Identify and lead additional development projects as required to ensure robustness of commercial supply, by investigating issues and risks, designing suitable scope of work, and managing execution of projects with their CMO partners.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Product Development Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:


1. Relevant degree in a Pharmaceutical or Life Science field.


2. Proven industry experience in drug product formulation development, specifically in oral solid dose forms, solutions, or suspensions.


3. A working knowledge and practical experience with ICH guidelines.
