Job Title: Product Application Specialist
The Product Application Specialist is responsible for configuring and tailoring data collection experiences on the Reportum platform to meet specific client needs across adverse event and product complaint reporting. Working as part of the Product Management team, and interfacing closely with Customer Success and Engineering, this role ensures that our forms and logic flows are not only technically sound, but also intuitive, empathetic, and aligned with real-world user contexts.
This role blends empathy with a practical understanding of UX and a solid degree of technical acumen. The ideal candidate is comfortable using an advanced no-code configuration tool, outputting well-formed JSON, and defining structured logic and data flows including advanced Boolean logic. They must be detail-oriented and confident navigating between user needs and system-level implications, as well as between technical configuration and documentation.
As part of the Product Management team, and a key user of our configuration tool, you will be directly involved in product practices and will play a critical role in shaping the future development of the platform.
Experience Required:
At least 3 years of professional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Form Configuration
Use Reportum’s form-building platform to configure context-specific digital data collection experiences for AE and product complaints.
User Logic
Build and manage complex no-code logic flows using boolean operators, decision trees, and branching rules.
UX & Design Alignment
Work collaboratively with UX lead to ensure all forms are user-friendly, clear, and accessible across languages and use cases.
Customer Empathy
Engage with internal teams and, where applicable, external users to understand user needs, pain points, and expectations. Translate these into thoughtful form configurations.
Technical Configuration
Encode JSON outputs to align with downstream data output requirements. Understand how configuration choices affect data capture and downstream processing.
Documentation
Maintain detailed records of form configurations, logic rules, and decisions for internal and audit purposes.
Training & Support
Support internal stakeholders by explaining configuration logic and form behavior. Help ensure smooth client rollouts by assisting with testing and adjustments.
Feedback Loop
Gather feedback from end users and internal teams to iterate on form configurations and logic flows.
Key Interfaces
• Internal: Customer Success, Engineering, Software Quality Assurance
Qualifications & Competencies
Experience with form-building tools or no-code platforms
Technical familiarity with JSON
High empathy and sensitivity to end-user experience
UX/UI sensibility, especially for structured data capture
Experience working in life sciences or regulated software environments
Experience in a SaaS, and scale-up environment
Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously
Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical teams
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to self-organize and manage competing priorities
Demonstrated ability to think logically and map out decision flows
Familiarity with pharmacovigilance, adverse events, or product complaints
