We are a fast-growing skincare manufacturer known for our commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability. As we scale, we are looking for a dynamic and commercially mindedProcurement Managerto lead our sourcing and procurement operations.


Position Overview

The Procurement Manager will oversee the strategic sourcing of raw materials, packaging, and related supplies essential to our skincare product line. This includes key ingredients (active and base), essential oils, chemicals, and packaging components. The ideal candidate will bring experience from FMCG, pharmaceutical, chemical, or cosmetics manufacturing environments, with a deep understanding of supplier management, cost control, and supply chain optimization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for raw materials, packaging, and indirect goods and services.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Evaluate and onboard new suppliers, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards (e.g., GMP, REACH, ISO).
  • Monitor global supply markets for pricing trends, risks, and new sourcing opportunities.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Production teams to ensure material compatibility and innovation support.
  • Manage procurement budgets, forecasts, and reporting.
  • Drive sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.
  • Implement and maintain procurement KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in procurement, ideally within FMCG, skincare, pharma, chemicals, or cosmetics manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of raw material sourcing (chemicals, actives, oils, excipients, packaging, etc.).
  • Excellent negotiation, supplier management, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle).
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and quality compliance requirements.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • CIPS or equivalent procurement certification.
  • Experience in sustainable or ethical sourcing programs.
  • Exposure to international sourcing and import/export processes.
