Procurement Delivery Manager

on a contract basis to support its mission of improving health outcomes and making care more accessible across the world. The organisation's procurement function plays a strategic role in achieving this mission-building strong supplier partnerships, optimising sourcing capabilities, and driving continuous improvement across the value chain.
Sitting within the Indirect Procurement Delivery group, this opportunity focuses on Research & Development (R&D) categories. The role supports everything from category management to operational sourcing and supplier strategy execution. Your role as Procurement Delivery Manager
Manage day-to-day procurement delivery for indirect R&D categories, supporting sourcing, contracting, and supplier engagement.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies based on market insights and business needs, using robust frameworks to drive value.
Support procurement automation by turning sourcing outcomes into usable buying content and streamlined processes.
Build strong partnerships with internal procurement teams and business stakeholders to align procurement with wider strategic goals.
Lead or contribute to productivity and operational efficiency initiatives that enhance the customer buying experience.
Handle sourcing and contracting activities with low-to-medium complexity, ensuring timely and accurate procurement delivery.
Experience and qualifications for the Procurement Delivery Manager role
Strong background in procurement with at least 3 years' experience in sourcing, simple contracting, and operational efficiency projects.
Solid understanding of procurement systems, indirect categories, and R&D commodities, with exposure to adjacent spend areas.
Confident handling operational procurement tasks, from supplier engagement to process optimisation.
Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and communicate effectively in a matrixed environment.
Experience developing procurement content and implementing automation to drive adoption and efficiency.
Business-level fluency in English and a degree in business or a related discipline are essential.
