At our Dartford site (CMT) our mission is to be the industry choice for high potent, high value API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) micronization. Today, we supply :40 micronized product to a wide range of customers and patients . Catalent Dartford is currently recruiting for aProcess Technicianto join our site (either earlies/lates or nights)

Process Technicians play a key role in the preparation and execution of all manufacturing steps to produce high quality products for our patients and clients. This includes manufacturing for product development, clinical trials and commercial supply.

The Role:


  • Teamwork & Flexibility: Work collaboratively within the CMT team, adapting positively to changing demands and priorities.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Always follow health and safety regulations, wear appropriate PPE, and ensure the safety of yourself, colleagues, and products.
  • GMP Adherence: Operate in full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and report any deviations or concerns.
  • Procedure Compliance: Follow all relevant SOPs and SWIs for which you are trained, ensuring consistent and compliant operations.
  • Issue Reporting: Use Catalent reporting systems to identify and report issues or potential hazards promptly.
  • Training & Development: Stay current with all required training and actively pursue cross-skilling opportunities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, taking ownership of ideas and actions.
  • Operational Excellence: Operate equipment safely and efficiently, maintain GMP standards, support troubleshooting, and lead Tier 1 Daily Performance Management processes.


Shift Pattern


  • Earlies/Lates rotation. Monday to Thursday 6am – 2pm & 1.30pm – 10pm. Friday 1.30pm – 7pm
  • Night shift. Monday to Wednesday 9pm – 7am - Thursday 9pm. Friday 6.30am (returning Monday at 9pm)


The Candidate:


  • Good education including maths and English
  • IT literate including Microsoft packages
  • Have a keen eye for detail and be able to follow strict instructions
  • Comfortable working in PPE equipment
  • Preferred: Knowledge of High Containment Ways of Working
