Job Title: Process Operator - Hartlepool - Continental Salary: £27,376 per annum + £7,200 shift allowance Location: Hartlepool

Reports to: Shift Supervisor / Production Management

Working Hours: 06:00 - 18:00 / 18:00 - 06:00, 2 days 2 nights 4 off

Our client is an Private Equity-backed global manufacturer of flavour and fragrance ingredients who are partnered with the world's leading flavour and fragrance companies and are the secret ingredient in many of the world's favourite brands. You'll find our clients ingredients in famous products from coffee to confectionery, and perfume to pet food.

Job Objectives: To safely operate process equipment within designated areas, adhering to standard operating procedures and work instructions. Ensure all necessary

documentation is completed accurately, respond to and report any issues to the supervisor to minimise impacts on safety, quality, and production. Contribute to process improvements and the successful introduction of new products while maintaining high housekeeping standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor process equipment in compliance with safety policies and
Maintain designated work areas in a clean and safe
Use prescribed safety clothing and equipment correctly, ensuring they are well-
Report all incidents and unsafe conditions immediately, assisting in investigations and corrective
Comply with company environmental and waste policies to minimise environmental
Ensure waste generated during manufacturing is managed and disposed of appropriately.
Optimise the efficient processing of products, ensuring effective use of raw materials, labour, and plant
Work collaboratively with maintenance teams to ensure the safe operation of plant
Follow the production plan, making modifications only after consulting with the Shift Supervisor/Production
Record process information accurately and ensure adherence to process work instructions.
Maintain high housekeeping standards within designated

Monitor processes for non-conformances and report issues to the ShiftSupervisor, taking accountability for variances against standard yields and times.

Train new and existing operators in plant operations within specific
Support documentation, development, and scale-up of new processes in collaboration with RCD and Process Support
Conduct a thorough and safe handover of designated areas to the oncoming shift.

Skills s Experience Required:

Experience in a process or manufacturing environment (chemical, pharmaceutical, or related industry preferred).
Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental
Ability to follow work instructions and complete documentation
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to
Good communication skills and ability to work in a
