Process Engineer

Fully Onsite Role, commutable from Kirkby in Ashfield, Belper, Heanor, Derby, Mansfield, Nottingham, Ilkeston, Matlock or surrounding areas. Salary: £40,000-£47,000 + Monday to Friday, 36.5hrs + Performance Bonus + Training + Progression + Company Benefits.

Exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a growing, specialist company in a hands-on and autonomous role. This position offers the chance to work in a technically challenging environment, implementing new ideas and processes to help achieve company goals.

This is an opportunity to work for an established, well-renowned manufacturer in the Derbyshire area. The company prides itself on investing in staff development, training methods, and staying ahead of market competition.

The day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing production activities and implementing new processes to improve quality, innovation, reduce wastage, and enhance reliability.

The successful candidate will work alongside the continuous improvement team and assist with staff training on new processes. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career and contribute to the ongoing development of the business.

The Role:

  • Process Production Engineer
  • Improving production processes
  • Testing new materials & processes
  • Developing production equipment & maintenance schedules

The Person:

  • Process Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / R&D Engineer / Development Engineer / Production Engineer or similar background
  • Experience in manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, extrusion, plastic, or similar industries
  • Knowledge of textile, dyeing techniques, or similar is advantageous but essential
  • Degree/HND in Mechanical Engineering
