Client and role ;

Our client is a specialist in the design and manufacture of high integrity heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment for offshore oil and gas, nuclear, marine, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, process and energy sectors.

The Process Engineer designs, implements, and optimises manufacturing or industrial processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. They analyse workflows, identify bottlenecks, and develop solutions using engineering principles and data analysis. They ensure operations meet output goals and comply with industry standards.

The Process Engineer is required to support the Operations Manager in the day-to-day activities of ensuring customer on time delivery at the highest quality and levels of satisfaction

The Process Engineer is responsible to supporting the shop floor team with the understanding and maintaining of lean principles ensuring accountability and responsibility is assured

Duties ;

Working closely with personnel at all levels to become a subject matter expert in departmental products and processes
Installing and maintaining system BOM's & Routers for all products
Supporting projects, as assigned, to help develop new products and/or processes
Supporting in modification of processes and products
Engaging and leading Lean Manufacturing activities focused on Visual Factory, streamlined material flow, waste reduction, and inventory minimization
Generating and executing continuous improvement projects targeted to reduce waste, improve product quality, and reduce manufacturing cycle time
Maintenance of documented standards systems for the department
Generating SOP's for ISO compliance and other initiatives as required
Monitor Process KPI's and provide operational evaluation as directed by the Operations Manager
Work in conjunction with Projects/Mechanical Dept
Prioritise own workload in order to meet project / business needs
Develop and maintain key contacts both internally and externally
General duties as delegated within the overall range of the post
Produce project and production documentation
Achieve a reliable and acceptable standard of planning, project and production
Support monthly reporting requirements
To comply with employee duties and responsibilities under health and safety legislation and comply with Company rules as detailed in various health and safety policies and procedures.Experience and Qualifications ;

5+ years' experience in a high-performance manufacturing facility - HVAC Industry preferred

In depth understanding of Lean and/or Six Sigma processes

NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Engineering

Salary

Our client is looking to secure the ideal candidate with an attractive Salary of around £40k per annum this comes with the following Benefits: Pension 5% (Employee) / 3% (Company), Life Insurance x4 basic, (email address removed) medical assistance
