Job Description

CK Group are recruiting for an experienced Private Medical Commercial Partnership Manager with a track record managing or working directly with Private Medical Insurers (PMI), to join a pharmaceutical and life sciences company. This is a permanent UK field based, with occasional travel to our clients site based near London and Derby.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for for driving new business, as well as maintaining current business. You will be accountable for delivering high value contracts for PMI and self-funder accounts. Having expertise in the service patient pathway private sector as well as within the oncology services will be highly advantageous. For this role, you will be a trusted advisor to clients providing support to the Partnership Director for operational and strategic plans.

Responsibilities:

  • To drive forward profitable growth.
  • Develop account plans for PMI clients and supporting implementation of innovative client solutions.
  • Provide account leadership to drive excellent client engagement.
  • Support on strategic and operational actions; KPI reports, market intel reports, price lists, health code updates.

    Your Background:

  • Degree qualified - science, sales/ marketing or equivalent with commercial sales/ account management/ business development experience with PMI/ private healthcare sectors.
  • Successful in managing PMI accounts (ideally minimum value of £1 million+).
  • Proven track record of building relationships, developing business with Executives of PMI companies or within a private healthcare services setting.
  • Strong knowledge the private healthcare market in UK, pharmaceutical market and NHS environment, Cancer specialities.
  • Confident communication skills in order to develop and present proposals.
  • ABPI accredited (desirable).
  • Experience in oncology services.
