Senior/Principal Scientist – TCR Engineerin
Location: London | Type: Full-time | Sector: Biotech
A pioneering biotech client is seeking a Senior or Principal Scientist to lead the development and validation of next-generation T-cell receptor (TCR) therapies targeting solid tumours. This role is central to advancing a novel trispecific TCR-based T cell engager (TCE) platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead in vivo and in vitro validation of TCEs.
Design, express, and characterise TCRs for therapeutic programs.
Conduct protein purification, biophysical analysis, and molecular biology workflows.
Support immunoassays (e.g., flow cytometry, ELISA) and NGS data analysis.
Collaborate across R&D and external partners to drive innovation.
Requirements:
PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
Senior: 1–2 years post-PhD experience | Principal: 3+ years in industry.
Proven experience with TCE validation, ideally through IND stage.
Strong background in molecular biology, protein science, and immunological assays.
Familiarity with NGS and data analysis tools (e.g., R) is a plus.
