Summary -Leads the execution and delivery of pharmacometrics tasks on assigned projects within (early/full) clinical development. Together with the leadership, s/he is responsible for the discussion and implementation of pharmacometric methodologies that optimally address the research and development objectives on assigned projects. The Role
As a Principal Pharmacometrics Scientist you will be responsible for the discussion and implementation of pharmacometrics methodologies that optimally address the research and development objectives on assigned projects.
This role offers hybrid working, requiring 3 days per week or 12 days per month in our London Office.
Key Accountabilities:
You will lead the execution and delivery of pharmacometrics tasks on assigned projects within (early/full) clinical development.
You will partner with Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research, Pharmacometrics Development Unit leader and senior pharmacometrics associates to negotiate and develop pharmacometrics objectives and deliverables.
You will partner with colleagues in (early/full) Global Project Teams providing pharmacometrics support for the quantitative evaluation of competing trial/analysis strategies assuring robust support to clinical development planning and execution and alignment with clinical development plans and target product profiles.
You will collaborate closely with the Analytics team (biometrician, data management, database programming, programming, medical and scientific writing) on the pharmacometrics strategy and execution on assigned projects.
You will contribute to the pharmacometrics scientific content of materials for internal decision

boards/regulatory/submission

documents: Briefing Books, decision criteria, trial design(s), responses to trial-specific Health Authority questions.
You will promote the use of innovative methods within the organization, through scientific collaborations, publications in scientific peer reviewed journals and presentations at professional meetings.
Your Experience
Ph.D. in pharmacology, biology, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a field with significant modeling-related content (or equivalent).
More than 2 years' experience in modeling related activity relevant to the role as a pharmacometrician.
Sound knowledge with SAS / R / MATLAB / NONMEM / Monolix or any other business or research analytic software relevant to pharmacometrics.
scientific leadership skills demonstrated in facilitating the inclusion and execution of pharmacometrics methods.
