About youTo be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience: **Essential criteria ** 1. PhD awarded, or near completion*, in biomedical engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related subject.2. First or second class honors degree in biomedical engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related subject.3. Advanced programming skills in Python, Matlab and C++.4. Good writing and presentation skills. 5. A solid research background in a relevant field, supported by published peer-reviewed work. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 7. Ability to work and communicate effectively with people from a wide range of disciplines and organisations. 8. An enthusiastic attitude and scientific approach to solving research problems.Desirable criteria1. Knowledge of cardiovascular physiology2. Knowledge of signal and image processing techniques 3. Experience with student supervision 4. Experience in multidisciplinary research5.
