I have an exciting new opportunity for a Wellbeing Advisor to join our dynamic, growing multidisciplinary team to support the on-site health and wellbeing service at one of our well-known key client's sites, based in Portsmouth.

This is a full time, on-site role, where the successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week between Monday to Friday.You will be on a rotating shift pattern which will include a morning, day and evening shift, between the hours of 8am and midnight.

Reporting directly to one of our Senior Wellbeing Physiologists, the successful candidate will be supporting in the delivery of musculoskeletal focused and health coaching programs on-site, working closely with the client ensuring business objectives and needs are met, whilst maintaining our goals and CORE values.

  • To deliver lifestyle clinical assessments of patients
  • To provide evidence-based advice tailored to the patients health profile (adiposity, biochemistry, blood screening) and stage of behaviour change
  • To formulate and implement written action plans based on treatment prescription, which is modified for the applicable stage of change
  • To set positive and realistic goals coaching the patient to realise their potential
  • To support patients living with lifestyle induced disease to make positive and sustainable lifestyle choices for enhanced chronic disease management
  • Give assistance and reassurance to clients during their medical tests
  • To deliver evidence-based exercise sessions to groups
  • To use specialised equipment to perform clinical physiological tests
  • To record and analyse physiological data
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment in line with Policy, reporting faults etc.
  • To interpret clinical data and assess patients clinical risk, making informed decisions whether to escalate to GP or OH practitioners for further investigation and management
  • Act within the boundaries set out by the companys policies to ensure sensitive personal information is protected as required by law, regulatory bodies, ethics and best practice
  • Support the preparation and delivery of educational workshops and health & wellbeing webinars
  • To be proactive in the design of health promotion campaigns empowering employees with the knowledge to make informed decisions on their health
  • Getting clients and equipment into correct locations and positions for events
  • To produce new and innovative strategies to enhance the role preventative services play in an Occupational Health Service
  • Empower others to be accountable for their own health and wellbeing
  • Acts as a health and wellbeing role model, ambassador, and team player
  • Develop and promote a culture of health and wellbeing first
  • Keeping knowledge up to date through continued research and commitment to learning
  • Act in accordance with the companys core values of diligence; honesty; exemplary customer service; professionalism; ethical and trustworthy behaviours. Valuing colleagues, customers and business partners, and taking responsibility for their actions

Salary

We are offering a salary of up to £32,000K per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
