Salary: £66,690 + Bonus, 33 days AL, Private Medical Insurance + GPhC Fees paid + much more!

Compass Associates are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s leading Community Pharmacy groups in the search for a diligent Pharmacy Manager to join their dynamic team in Wigan. As a reputable and community oriented pharmacy chain, our client is committed to providing the highest standard of care to their patients. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and will be able to work effectively as a part of a cohesive team. You’ll have a “can-do” attitude and will have a passion for providing great care to the community.


This branch is staffed an experienced team of 5, including a trainee technician, providing an excellent service to the local community from their setting in a residential area next to doctors surgery. As well as providing a variety of services, this branch also utilises robotic distribution technology, freeing up your time to provide excellent patient care.

What You’ll Be Doing


  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines
  • Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care
  • Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory
  • Provide immunization services (where applicable)
  • Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products
  • Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives


What You’ll Bring


  • Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • One year + experience in a UK Community Pharmacy setting
  • Strong commitment to patient care and safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends
  • A flexible and positive approach to problem-solving


Location


This Community Pharmacy is based in Wigan and commutable from St Helens, Prescot, Warrington, Leigh, Bolton, Skelmersdale, Kirkby, Manchester and Liverpool.
