Evolve is working with a brand-new client – a leading supermarket pharmacy chain with branches across the UK!


Our client is looking for a Pharmacist Manager to join their branch in Leighton Buzzard on a fixed term 6-month contract dispensing approximately 8000 items per month.


Ideally you will work full time, 36 hours per week over 5 days but will consider 30 hours per week over 4 days if required, both with 1 in 4 Saturdays. The branch is open Monday to Saturday (9am to 9pm) & Sunday (10am to 4pm) so early and late shifts are available (applicants must be flexible to work both shift patterns as required, however no Sundays are involved).


Salary & Benefits on offer:

  • Salary ranges from £44,990 to £61,861 (£24.03 to £33.05 p/h) depending on experience.

Ideal Requirements for the Pharmacist Manager

  • GPhC registered Pharmacist with post-registration experience.
  • All levels of experience can be considered.
  • Passionate about leading and empowering a team.
  • Approachable and customer-focussed attitude.


Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist Manager

  • Supply prescriptions, deliver a range of NHS and Private services and provide healthcare advice to customers.
  • Play an active role in a charities support programme giving advice to people in the community at risk of, or living with, cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
  • Lead, train, and develop colleagues.
  • Use a planning system to ensure pharmacy staff are available, so you’re always there to meet customers’ needs.
