    We have an exciting opportunity for a part time Clinical Pharmacist to join our primary care team at HMP Wymott a category C prison based in Leyland, Lancashire. You will be joining an experienced and well staffed Pharmacy Team, where your role would primarily focus on dispensing, clinical screening and structured medication reviews. You will also work alongside a second pharmacist.

    Hours

    2.5 days to be worked between Monday to Friday, we are flexible as to which days are worked

    Salary

    This is a part time role working 2.5 days/ 18.75 hours per week, you'll receive a salary between £49,848 and £55,941 per annum FTE depending on experience

    As the Clinical Pharmacist your responsibilities will vary. You will:
    Ensure the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high quality prison pharmaceutical service
    Provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensuring a safe and modern medicines management services
    Lead a team of Pharmacy technicians

    Qualifications & Experience

    Registered Pharmacist - holding registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
    Vocational Master's Degree in Pharmacy including pre-registration training
    Relevant post qualification
    Although not essential, this would ideally suit an applicant with at least 1 years experience in a hospital setting.
