Who we are looking for
We are looking for a talented Partnerships Director to join our commercial team. The successful candidate will be part of a growing international company that is changing how doctors connect and learn.
Your Mission
As a Partnerships Director, you will be working with clients in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries to identify opportunities to support their objectives through marketing and educational campaigns with MedShr.
Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities for sales with new and existing MedShr clients
Prospect new clients by networking, email, telephone, social media and other means of generating interest from potential clients
Manage sales pipeline and close commercial deals
Develop proposals and deliver pitches to potential new clients
Build strong relationships with key clients on brand, and medical and digital teams
Retain and grow existing client accounts by presenting and proposing improved solutions and services
Work collaboratively with colleagues in the MedShr Clinical and Community Teams to define clients’ needs and sell compelling programs to clients
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the market, MedShr solutions and services, competitor offerings and MedShr's differentiation
Train, develop and manage more junior members of the commercial team, ensuring a clear pipeline of opportunity is developed
Successful Candidates will:
Be versatile, driven and commercially astute problem solvers
Be able to understand the ‘consultative sell’, and tailor the MedShr offering based on a client’s strategic context and challenges
Have considerable experience working in healthcare with either pharmaceutical, device or medical education experience (>5 years)
Have a strong track record of winning new business from pharmaceutical or medical device companies
Have a deep understanding of physician engagement and medical education trends and new technologies
Have experience of industry regulations in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors
Be comfortable working with a wide-range of stakeholders at a senior level
Build trust quickly and have a reputation for delivering successful solutions to meet clients’ needs
Be competent in crafting a clear, compelling story and deliver presentations that resonate with clients and lead to sales
Have strong PowerPoint skills
Have excellent leadership and communication skills
Be creative and determined, and can bounce back from adversity
Have strong analytical skills, being able to gather and derive insights from data
Operate independently but also be collaborative and able to work effectively within a team
Desirable:
A degree within a medical or biological discipline or being medically trained
Experience in Education, Digital and Social Media sales and marketing
Work Pattern
Full-time (40hrs/week)
Compensation
Our salary for this role is based on experience and with performance-related bonus. We also provide discretionary share options after probation is complete.
Benefits
Flexible
MedShr operate a core hours policy between 9.30am and 4.30pm. This is a hybrid role with 2 days in the London Office (nearest tube station: Barons Court).
Base holiday
25 days base holiday, plus UK bank holidays
Pension employer contribution
MedShr will contribute 5% towards your pension
