Operations Team Leader
* Full Time position available, working between 45hrs per week (including paid breaks) 15:45-23:45, Monday to Friday.

A leading pharmaceutical wholesale company is looking to expand its Warehouse & Operations Team in recruiting an Operations Team Leader at our Bolton site Ethigen will give you the opportunity to work in one of the Top 5 Pharmaceutical Distributers in the UK, in an environment where staff have a passion for Excellence.

As one of the Operations Team Leaders you’ll be working directly for the Operations Shift Leader, supporting the semi-automated warehouse operation; You will be expected to work together with the leadership team and take ownership of key production tasks, monitor key systems and workflow to achieve set KPI’s. This is a fast-paced role requiring a hands-on approach demonstrating skills at controlling, directing and motivating staff in a safe environment.

The Role:
* Ensuring that all relevant Health & Safety, MHRA and Company Policies and Procedures are adhered to and effectively communicated to the team.
* Organise your team to achieve a balanced workflow in order to meet deadlines.
* Reporting any under-performance to the Shift Leader, while working to-wards set KPI’s.
* Dealing with absence management, including return to work interviews
* Ability to coach, motivate and mentor your team.
* Completion of preventative maintenance, health and safety and MHRA documentation
* Delivering clear communication between all company departments and the warehouse team
* Ensuring the warehouse is inspection ready at all times.
* Providing concise, detailed written handovers to the upcoming shift.
* Internal career progression opportunities.

You’ll be comfortable leading from the front as well as conveying your skills and expertise to the wider circle of colleagues.

Finally, you’re motivated, passionate about meeting deadlines and thrive on the challenge of delivering the final product to the highest standard.

Essential candidate requirements:
* Experienced leader with previous warehouse/operations experience.
* Ability to motivate and work to set KPI’s.
* Be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong numerical skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Team management experience & can-do attitude.
* Competent IT skills, using Microsoft platforms.

It will be advantageous, but not essential if you have:
* Previous experience working in a pharmaceutical environment and working under MHRA guidelines.
* Thorough understanding of health and safety – proficient delivering risk assessments
* Experience with automated production/warehousing systems.

Full time & part time roles available – Competitive salary, dependent on experience and the skill the candidate can bring to the role.
