Our client is a global provider of scientific solutions, helping laboratories around the world enable advancements in many areas such as pharmaceutical, food, environmental and healthcare. To ensure the efficiency of their operations, they are seeking an experienced Engineer to be based onsite at their client’s site in the Northwest.

As an on-site service engineer your key responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing and maintaining Scientific instrumentation including Chromatography, Mass Spec, Automation & Process equipment from a range of vendors

  • Providing training to other scientific staff and customers on utilization of equipment

  • Diagnosing faults on complex scientific equipment ensuring prompt, flexible and customer focused support

  • Managing equipment parts and spare parts

    To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • NVQ 3 in engineering or equivalent

  • Previous experience servicing complex scientific instrumentation (Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry, Automation) from a range of instrument vendors

  • Experience servicing general lab instruments (centrifuges, incubators, pipettes) would be beneficial

  • Knowledge of GMP

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team

    This is a great opportunity for an experienced service engineer looking to secure a site-based role and continue working in a challenging and fulfilling role. The company offer an excellent remuneration and benefits package (with no travel!
