Locum Band 7 Nuclear Medicine Technologist – West Midlands – Full-Time

We are currently supporting an NHS hospital in the West Midlands in their search for a Locum Band 7 Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This is a full-time position, ideal for an experienced and adaptable professional looking to take on a rewarding role in a busy and well-equipped department.

Essential Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Nuclear Medicine, including imaging and non-imaging procedures.
  • Ability to work with specialist, high-tech equipment, adapting protocols when necessary.
  • Demonstrated experience working within an NHS Nuclear Medicine department.
  • Sound knowledge of radiation safety, protection principles, and decontamination procedures.
  • Familiarity with UK legislation including:
  • IRR17, IR(ME)R17, Environmental Permitting Regulations, and ARSAC guidelines.
  • Proficient in:
  • Performing and analysing a wide range of diagnostic procedures.
  • Administering radiopharmaceuticals intravenously.
  • Using complex imaging systems and software.
