A leading UK-based service provider in thefood manufacturing sectoris seeking a skilled and proactiveMaintenance Engineerto join a high-performing engineering team. With multiple large-scale sites and continued investment in technology and infrastructure, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced operation.

About the Role

Reporting to the Facilities & Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for theplanned and reactive maintenanceof a range ofproduction and packaging machinery, building systems, and site equipment. You'll play a key role in ensuringcompliance, efficiency, and minimal downtimeacross the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry outpreventative maintenance and condition monitoringto minimise breakdowns
  • Respond to and resolve equipment faults withminimal disruption
  • Ensure compliance withhealth & safety regulations, and complete all necessary documentation
  • Performstatutory inspectionsand liaise with external contractors and insurers as required
  • Maintain and update theasset registerand service logs
  • Monitor and improve equipment performance using KPIs
  • Support the training of production teams on safe machinery use and care
  • Carry out generalbuilding maintenanceand support site infrastructure as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Relevantmechanical qualification(City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • 17th Edition Electrical Qualification(or later)
  • Proven experience inengineering/maintenanceroles
  • Confident with troubleshootingelectro-mechanical machinery
  • Working knowledge ofHealth & Safety standards, COSHH, and CDM regulations
  • Comfortable workingat height and in confined spaces
  • Skilled in the use ofbasic power tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Full UKdriving licence
