Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Wythenshawe

Salary: £55,000 per annum

Shifts: 3-Shift Rotation (Days, Afternoons, Nights)

Industry: FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods)

We're looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our industry-leading manufacturing site. Working on a 3-shift pattern, you'll be part of a fast-paced and collaborative team focused on ensuring minimal downtime and maximum production efficiency.

What You'll Be Doing:

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of fast-paced production and packaging equipment

Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues to keep operations running smoothly

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis

Working closely with production teams to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality targets are met

Recording all maintenance activities and contributing to ongoing asset care strategies

What We're Looking For:

Time-served engineer with a recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)

Experience in a high-speed FMCG, food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment

Strong fault-finding skills across both mechanical and electrical systems

A team player who thrives in a fast-moving, shift-based environment

Knowledge of PLCs and automated systems is a plus
