Nights CNC Punch Setter / Operator

Salary £17.30 - £19.96 after training

Monday to Thursday 4.30pm-1am / Friday 1pm-6.30pm

My Client is a leading manufacturer within their field looking for an experienced CNC Punch Setter / Operator offering long term prospects for suitable candidates. The role will be based at their purpose-built facility and will involve a range of work across various sectors.

My Client is seeking an experienced CNC Punch Setter / Operator to join their team.

As a CNC Punch Setter / Operator you will:

Working with Trumpf controlled systems, or have skills on other machinery which can be transferable to Trumpf (Amada, Bistronic, LVD, Edward Pearson)
Working with sheet metal in a manufacturing background with material ranging from 1.0mm to 6.0mm thickness and parts up to 4 metres in length
Loading programs and selecting tools for CNC punch to enable the fabrication of flat pattern sheet metal components
Takes responsibility for quality, quantity and inspection of work performed
Operate CNC punch on existent programs, continuously improving them
Select the correct punches and dies for material spec/design radii and drawing requirements
Keep work area, including tools, machine surfaces clean at all times. The Company:
