Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

To £53K + Paid Overtime

West Yorkshire

Shift:

Week 1, X4 12 hour Days, Week 2 x4 12 hour Nights, Week 3 - Flexi Shift

We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join a UK leader who specialise in supplying a wide range of concrete products to the building and construction sector.

You will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of equipment in a medium-heavy engineering environment including manual handling of large machinery, parts and components.

We are looking for candidates who are willing to work in a dusty environment and you must also be comfortable working at heights and negotiating steps/ladders.

Key Tasks:

Diagnose and fix electrical & mechanical faults to keep production running smoothly
Service and overhaul of plant and equipment
Reduce downtime and boost plant performance through proactive maintenance
Work within a skilled team, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times
Be a key player in continuous improvement and innovation

Requirements:

Qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer (C&G/NVQ/HNC)
Minimum 5 years experience of maintenance in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment
Able to attend to electrical and mechanical breakdowns
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic systems
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Proactive approach and improvement mindset
Team player

On Offer

Min salary of £44K for 40-hour week up to £53K for 48-hour week
Paid Overtime
Holidays; Starting at 22 days + stats rising to 27 days with service
Christmas shutdown
