Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

The Role

This position is working for a leading manufacturer in the Ellesmere Port area, where you will be focusing on the maintenance of the robotic, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. Ideally the successful candidate will have a strong electrical appreciation, with knowledge of Siemens S7 PLCs. The client are happy for candidates to come from any industry / sector.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Main Responsibilities

Reactive maintenance to resolve breakdowns.
Performing planned maintenance tasks.
Support the production teams during production runs.
Systematic problem solving for repetitive issues/faults.
CIP – apply continuous improvement process.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

The Candidate

Time Served Apprenticeship – Multiskilled (Electrical and Mechanical) – Minimum Qualification ONC/HNC
Knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC and devices advantageous
Fanuc Robot, Programming & set-up advantageous
Understanding of Hydraulic & Pneumatic circuits advantageous
Sound interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A high level of self-motivation and tenacity.
