Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute break)

Start Date: November 2024

Duration: Minimum 6 months
Rates: £18ph-£24ph

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician to join our client’s team at a leading private hospital in West London. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines across various wards.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the clinical team in the management of medicines on the wards.
Conduct medication reconciliation for patients at admission and discharge.
Review and update medication records and ensure accuracy.
Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Provide guidance to nursing staff regarding medication administration.
Assist in monitoring and reporting medication-related incidents.
Participate in patient education regarding their medications as needed.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Previous experience in a hospital setting, particularly with ward-based experience.
Strong knowledge of medicines management practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
