Microbiologist - Permanent Role (Early Shift)
Location: Alton, Hampshire
Shift: Permanent early shift, 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday to Friday
£27,000 - £33,000 plus company Bonus

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading healthcare company for a Microbiologist to join their QC Laboratory team. This laboratory-based role is key to ensuring the quality and safety of raw materials, bulk, and finished products through microbiological and environmental testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform microbiological testing of water, raw materials, bulk, and finished products.
• Carry out environmental testing across the facility.
• Release materials and products following QC approval.
• Support physical testing of bulk and finished products.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with GLP, GMP, and Health & Safety standards.

Requirements:

• Degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related science-based subject.
• Practical experience in microbiological testing techniques.
• Attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
• Experience in GLP/GMP environments is desirable.

This is a permanent role with a structured early shift, ideal for candidates who enjoy a laboratory-focused role within a supportive healthcare environment.
