Are you a skilled MEICA Commissioning Engineer with experience in the water industry? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join an established delivery contractor, working on innovative projects that contribute to the delivery of vital water services.
Position: MEICA Commissioning Engineer
Location: Southern England
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commissioning of water treatment and distribution systems, ensuring that all equipment and processes meet design specifications and operational requirements.
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures, coordinating closely with project managers, site teams, and contractors.
  • Perform functional testing, system integration, and performance validation for a variety of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Identify and troubleshoot any issues during the commissioning process, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to resolve them efficiently.
  • Prepare detailed commissioning documentation, including test reports, operational manuals, and as-built records.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining high standards of safety throughout all commissioning activities.
  • Provide technical support and training to site operations teams, ensuring smooth handover of systems for ongoing operation.
    Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the water or utilities sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of water treatment processes, pumping stations, and associated mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Hands-on experience with commissioning protocols, testing procedures, and system integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different disciplines.
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or process) or a related field.
