• Job Title: Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician (Band 5/6)
• Location: Surrey, NHS Hospital 
• Duration: Ongoing, with potential for extension
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (30-minute break)

• Rate of Pay: £18-26 per hour (depending on experience)

A Day in the Life of a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician: Join our team as a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in delivering excellent patient care within a hospital setting. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the safe and effective use of medications across wards.
• Collaborating with medical teams to manage patients' pharmaceutical care.
• Reviewing and dispensing prescribed medications in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Advising clinical staff on medication management and therapeutic choices.
• Ensuring medication stock levels are appropriately maintained and recorded.
• Conducting medication audits to ensure compliance with safety and legal requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Must be a Medicines Management Technician (MMT) with hospital experience.
• Experience working on wards in a hospital environment is essential.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety in medication management.
• Registered with the relevant regulatory body, GPHC

Working Hours & Contract Duration: This role offers a full-time position with working hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm and includes a 30-minute break. The contract is set to begin in March 2025 with the potential for extension based on performance and service needs.
