Ourcustomer is a global biopharmaceutical company, dedicated tobringing biosimilar medicines to market, ensuring high-qualitybiologics are available to more patients at cost-effective prices.Since their launch in 2012, they have developed the industry’s mostrapidly advancing biosimilar medicines portfolio and become leadersin this field. Working as part of a wider team, but with soleresponsibility for specialist centres across the UK, Netherlands,and Ireland from a medical affairs standpoint, key tasks willinclude: * Interactions with national, regional, and localcustomers (scientific discussions, presentations, data exchange andeducation) such as clinicians, clinical investigators, andadditional external stakeholders. * Providing medical informationand responses to complex medical questions from clinicians. *Internal scientific support, training, and provision of an expertresource for colleagues. * Coordination of scientific educationactivities and participation in events such as Advisory Boards andcongresses. * Interactions with scientific societies and patientgroups as appropriate. * Collecting and reporting relevantinformation to the company, such as competitor information,treatment patterns, product prescribing decision criteria, supplysituation, etc. Skills & experience required: * Scientificdegree (PhD, PharmD, MD, MSc, etc.). * Musthave experience ofworking as an MSL in the UK pharmaceutical industry. * An existingcustomer network in Nephrology is required; rare disease andbiosimilars experience strongly preferred (but not essential). *Understands how to link appropriate scientific support to delivervalue in a commercial organization. * Experience in understandingand interpreting clinical trial and statistical analysis with theability to deliver clear and compelling insight. * Inspirationalpresenter, conveying scientific material to large audiences in anengaging manner. * Strong leadership qualities, able to influenceinternal and external stakeholders. * Strong collaborator who canbuild networks across a complex business, with excellent teamworking skills and a resilient attitude. * Although this rolecovers several countries, the job holder must already be based inthe UK (please note sponsorship will not be available). * Willingto travel regularly in the UK, Ireland, and Netherlands asrequired. * Full driving license essential.
