The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging appropriately to build a KOL/ panel of speakers, to educate peers on the disease area and advances in treatment options. Gaining insights as to the needs and challenges of HCPs is a crucial part of the role.

Job Overview:

  • Consistent engagement and building relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
  • Confidently delivering scientific presentations to healthcare professionals
  • Providing training sessions for healthcare providers
  • Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, ABPI Code of Practice and internal standards.
  • Maintaining high ethical standards in all interactions


To be successful:

  • BSc in life sciences; a master’s or PhD in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Proven work experience as an MSL or similar role in the pharmaceutical or healthcare field.
  • Experience in specific therapeutic areas, such as endocrinology or similar rare disease therapy areas.
  • Fully IT literate: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.
  • Proficient influencing, confidence and negotiation skills with HCPs and other relevant NHS personnel
