CK Group are recruiting for a Media Technician, to join a pharmaceutical company, at their site based in Pirbright, Woking, on an initial 6 month contract.

The Company:

Our client is a leading manufacturer of vaccines, parasiticides and pharmaceuticals to protect animals. They are also one of the fastest growing animal health companies in the UK.

Location:

This role is located at their state of the art facilities near Woking, with excellent transport links.

Summary of Role:

As a Media Technician you will be responsible for large scale production of cells and media for antigen production.
Manufacture of cells and media for the production of FMD and BTV antigen, in a timely and cost effective manner to agreed HSE, GMP and biosecurity standards.
Operation of and planned / Ad Hoc maintenance of process plant in accordance with prescribed standard operating procedures.
Observe and accurately record readings taken from process plant instrumentation and laboratory equipment taking remedial action a required. Reporting of data to QC / QA, production management and financial controller.
Your Qualifications / Skills:

Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English, Math's and Science Grade 4/C or above.
Experience of operating industrial scale manufacturing plant under a quality system is desirable.
GMP and production experience is preferred.
Positive attitude, good communicational skills, time management.
