Job Title: Mechanical Project Engineer

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Our clients are market leading, highly valued engineering contractors who are delivering work in the pharmaceutical, data centre, manufacturing and commercial construction sectors, in Ireland and internationally.

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dublin. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for a variety of projects in the areas of pharmaceutical, healthcare, data centres].

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and engineering of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.

  • Develop and review P&IDs, equipment specifications, and datasheets.

  • Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, and other disciplines.

  • Prepare and review construction drawings and specifications.

  • Conduct site visits for inspections, surveys, and commissioning.

  • Oversee the procurement and installation of equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Stay abreast of the latest industry standards and technologies.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • 4 years of experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer

  • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations in Ireland.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
