My client designs and develops unique foil closures, and build cutting edge machinery that delivers, applies, and seals them to all manner of products. For a century my client has built a trusted reputation for providing innovative and creative sealing solutions to the biggest brands in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and personal care industries.

The Role

  • My client is looking to recruit a Mechanical Assembly Fitter within the Production Team. This is a hands-on role for a multi skilled technician who will be responsible for building, setting up and testing of our capping presses and sealing systems.

    Key Duties and Skills

  • Mechanical fitting experience of bespoke machinery

  • Ability to manufacture and assemble from Technical/Engineering drawings

  • Understanding of Pneumatics systems

  • Experience in the installation of Motors, Gearboxes, Belts, Bearings etc

  • Use of various hand and power tools

  • Machine tool exposure

  • Competent IT Skills

  • Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations

  • Carry out any such tasks as required from time to time, provided they are within the competence of the postholder
