Job Title: Mechanical Estimator
Salary: £70,000 - £85,000 (including additional company benefits)

A well-established M&E Contractor is looking for a Mechanical Estimator to join their expanding pre-construction team. They specialise in commercial, high-spec residential, leisure, pharmaceutical, and critical infrastructure projects, including data centres with MEP values reaching £35 million.

This company is known for its commitment to quality, integrity, and long-standing client partnerships. With a low staff turnover and a secure pipeline of upcoming work, they are seeking an experienced estimator who can step in and make an immediate impact, helping drive their ongoing growth and success.

Work on prestigious projects located exclusively within Zones 1-3 of Central London.

Clear career progression opportunities, including a path to Estimating Manager Responsibilities / Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 6 years' experience in an Electrical Estimating role.
Experience preparing tenders and pricing projects valued up to £20 million and examples of project wins over £15 million M&E.
Proficiency in researching materials, equipment, and labour costs.
Experience with Trimble, Contract Master, or other estimating software.
Strong Excel skills are beneficial.
Skilled in liaising with clients to gather project requirements.
Ability to obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotes.
Experience assessing project risks and preparing detailed quotations.
Proven track record of maintaining strong client and site relationships.
Competent in data analysis, cost forecasting, and compliance checks.
Attending design, progress, and commercial meetings regularly.Remuneration Package:
