Location: Warrington (Hybrid)

ENG Bauen is working closely with our client as they look to engage with Principle Mechanical Engineers/Engineering Managers who have had vast exposure in managing front-end developments, detailed design, and execution of small, medium, and large capital projects.

As a global EPC organisation, our client has set out a strategic growth strategy in the UK for 2023 due to substantial project wins within the renewable energy, oil & gas, nuclear and chemical sectors. The growth will see a sizeable increase in the current engineering and project management functions within the business.

As part of this growth strategy, the organisation is now looking to engage with Engineering professionals who have experience working on FEED packages and full-lifecycle projects and who can manage project teams whilst coordinating and delivering complex engineering projects throughout various stages.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Engineering professional looking to step into a senior-level position where you will directly influence the engineering delivery of EPC projects whilst acting as a line manager for your engineering discipline.

Core responsibilities:

  • Spearhead your discipline's success by overseeing resource allocation, performance reviews, and time management for your team.
  • Manage projects throughout their lifecycle, from concept to commissioning, across various sectors including Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, and Food.
  • Drive project success by meticulously managing Mechanical engineering and design within budget and planning constraints.
  • Showcase your expertise by delivering compelling proposals and accurate estimates for your discipline.
  • Lead a team of engineers and designers in executing Mechanical & Piping designs across multi-discipline engineering, EPCM, or EPC projects.

    The ideal candidate:

  • 5-7 years of experience delivering EPC projects in the oil and gas, petrochemical, and nuclear sectors
  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrate a successful track record in engineering management as a lead engineer, particularly within multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Possess deep knowledge and expertise in Mechanical engineering principles, codes, and standards.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing high-value projects, delivering exceptional results within budget and schedule.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the organization.
