Do you have experience within a GMP? Are you an experienced Mechanical or Chemical Engineer? Are you based in or around Harwell?

This role is ideal for an individual within Process Engineer related experience and a strong promoter of digitisation and a continuous improver. Only applicants from a GMP background will be considered.

Role: Engineering Specialist Technician (GMP)

Location: Moderna, Rutherford Avenue, Harwell OX11 0RL (100% site based)

Rate: highly competitive

Contract length: 6 months initially with the view to extend or offer a permanent role

Shift Patterns: Combination of day and night shifts (shift allowance included) so the need for flexibility is imperative

Responsibilities:



Providing subject matter expertise for critical GMP manufacturing equipment (e.g., Ultrafiltration, Chromatography, TMIX, Single Use Mixers, Buffer Prep Vessels, Fermenters, Reaction Vessels)

Serving as the engineering owner for designated process equipment

*

Delivering support on the floor daily to ensure effective operation

*

Leading small to medium technical projects ensuring no impact to production

*

Producing high quality technical documentation

*

Troubleshooting mechanical or process issues

*

Implementing resolutions including CAPAs

*

Managing change controls, deviations and quality records for designated equipment

Essential requirements:

Bachelors degree (minimum) in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

*

4 years (minimum) of Process Engineer related experience

*

2 years (minimum) of experience within a GxP environment

*

Experience with Bioprocess equipment

*

Investigative nature in order to determine true root cause

*

IT literate, especially with MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint

*

Considers themself to be approachable, personable and a teamplayer

*

Outstanding verbal and written communication skill
