This intermediate or senior mechanical engineer role is to be part of a building services design team delivering innovative and creative solutions. Project types range from healthcare, education, residential, commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, zero carbon and public sector.

Responsibilities

  • As an Intermediate / Senor Mechanical Engineer, you will be a vital part of the team and have a high degree of autonomy for your experience level, combined with support as needed.

  • Working as part of a larger team on certain projects

  • Attending meeting with clients and other construction professionals.

  • Helping generate repeat business through customer care of existing clients

  • Working on a variety of technically challenging and interesting projects across varied sectors

  • Producing drawings and specifications

  • Producing calculations or guiding others to complete them

    Experience & Qualifications

  • Ideally a degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, or HNC / HND with relevant design experience.

  • Ideally chartered or working towards

  • Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience of design in building services, post qualification completion

  • Experience of design software

  • Knowledge of British and European Standards, Building Regulations documents etc.

  • An enthusiasm to continue professional development
