M&E Team Lead – Hertfordshire

Salary - £50k

Working Hours – 8am – 5pm – Monday to Friday

M&E Team Lead – TXM are currently looking for a permanent M&E Team Lead to work on a biomedical campus in Hertfordshire. The M&E Team Lead will be overseeing 6 M&E Technicians and subcontractors while planning, organising, managing, and monitoring all engineering functions.

The M&E Team Lead will be managing a diverse team of engineers where they will oversee offices, laboratories and plants. The M&E Team Lead duties will also include –

• Overseeing all engineers working methods and performance
  
  
• Training and upskilling staff where necessary
  
  
• Working alongside the client, HSE Specialist, and Programme Manager
  
  
• Supervise installation and maintenance of equipment
  
  
• Ensure all work is completed within timeframe, keeping all parties informed of progress
  
  
• Producing risk assessments
  
  
• Preparation of annual PPM and statutory compliance programme of works
  
  M&E Team Lead Specification -
  
  
• HNC/HND in Engineering or time served apprenticeship
  
  
• If electrically biased will need 18th Edition and City and Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspecting or equivalent
  
  
• If mechanically biased will need FGas
  
  
• AHU / Ventilation experience (desirable)
  
  
• Health and Safety qualification (ideally IOSH MS)
  
  The salary for this role is £50,000 where it also comes with 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays and additional discount schemes.
