M&E Project Lead- Wales

We are partnered with a leading contractor with a reputation for delivering world-class projects across a diverse range of industries dedicated to ensuring quality, safety, and sustainability. Due to continued growth, we are now looking for an experienced M&E Project Lead for a Data Centre project. As M&E Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Mechanical & Electrical projects including planning, execution, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:



Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for electrical and mechanical projects.

Conduct site assessment to identify the electrical and mechanical project requirements, risks, and opportunities.

*

Team up with stakeholders to specify project goals, deliverables, and success criteria.

*

Identify and distribute resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.

*

Oversee all the site construction activities ensuring that electrical & mechanical works are performed safely and effectively following the project plans and specifications.

*

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor electrical & mechanical progress, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

*

Carry out electrical & mechanical quality control measures and procedures to identify and address construction errors and deficiencies.

*

Prepare regular updates on electrical & mechanical project progress, milestones and issues, and address stakeholder concerns in a timely and professional manner.

*

Degree in Construction Management/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.

*

3+ years’ experience in M&E Project Lead role with focus on Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, or Industrial projects.

*

Strong understanding of construction Project Management, M&E systems, methods, and codes.

*

Strong technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and CSA elements of the projects.

*

Strong verbal & written communication and problem-solving skills.

*

Proficiency in both mechanical & electrical project management software and tools.
