Our Client is a very successful Pharmaceutical manufacturing company. They are now seeking a Manufacturing Technician . This position is a full-time permanent role, working double days shifts , based in Great Yarmouth.
Job Purpose
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the Manufacturing team
The role is responsible for the manufacture of bulk pharmaceutical products, mostly liquids, creams, and lotions in a GMP compliant clean environment and recording these activities on GMP/inventory control documentation systems
This position works a two-shift pattern: Week one: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm. Week two: Monday to Friday 2pm - 10pm.
Key Responsibilities
Work efficiently and effectively to work schedules based on manufacturing plans
Follow complex written and verbal instructions
Ensure starting materials, components, cleaning materials and consumable parts are available
Make entries onto the inventory system (IFS) on a timely basis
Ensure good housekeeping and GMP standards in all areas
Take active part in daily manufacturing meetings on the factory floor
Maintain a safe working environment by working safely and follow all Health & Safety procedures
Be responsible for site, Health & Safety, fire evacuation and first aid in the absence of the Manufacturing Shift Leader
Qualifications / Experience
Have experience as a Manufacturing Operator
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Have experience of working in a busy production / manufacturing environment
Self-motivated with a proactive 'can do’ approach and flexible
Good numerical, verbal, and written communication skills
Experience of working within a regulated manufacturing / production environment (e.g., pharmaceutical, food production environment) and associated documentation
Be punctual and hardworking
You will ideally also have the following attributes and /or experience:
Have previous experience to lead a small team in the absence of the Manufacturing Shift Leader.
Have previous experience in training others
