Shillito Executive Search are pleased to be working with a high-volume manufacturing business based in South Yorkshire, operating as part of a global manufacturing group, as they look to recruit a Manufacturing Manager, in what is a newly created role for the business.

Working alongside the Senior Leadership Team, we're looking to recruit a Manufacturing Manager with experience of working within a high-volume production environment.

As part of the role of Manufacturing Manager, you would be expected to:

Lead and manage the manufacturing operations, ensuring high-volume production targets are consistently met.
Oversee and support a team of Shift Managers and a workforce of 100+ employees.
Implement and maintain best manufacturing practices, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor production efficiency, quality control, and safety standards to improve output.
Develop and deliver operational strategies aligned with business goals.
Drive a strong culture of employee engagement, teamwork, and professional development.
Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations, quality management systems, and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with senior management and other departments to enhance production capabilities and problem-solve operational challenges.
Manage budgets, cost control, and resource planning to maximise efficiency.We're looking for someone with:

Proven experience in a Manufacturing Manager or similar leadership role within a high-volume production environment.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of successfully leading teams.
Experience in lean manufacturing, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a hands-on approach to leadership.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with teams at all levels.
Knowledge of industry regulations, health & safety, and compliance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
