Title:Manufacturing Business Systems Analyst

Location:Hybrid - Hertfordshire


Planet Pharma is partnered with a leading global pharmaceutical manufacturing company who are currently going through a major transformation, and the Business Systems Analyst will play a key role in this transoframtion.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Manufacturing Business Process & System Manager to oversee the full life cycle of the Tulip platform and other manufacturing systems—from initiation and deployment to maintenance and support.
  • Drive issue resolution by investigating problems and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to implement solutions.
  • Ensure system documentation meets GxP compliance standards.
  • Support system interfaces, including machine integration and SAP ECC maintenance, along with cross-platform connectivity (e.g., SAP–Tulip).
  • Engage with vendors and partners to maintain effective relationships and ensure performance standards are met.
  • Identify and implement new use cases for Tulip beyond Electronic Batch Records.
  • Use ServiceNow to manage application life cycles and maintain industry knowledge on pharma manufacturing technologies.
  • Lead the technical integration of Tulip and other systems during warehouse and packaging line expansion for new product launches.
  • Collaborate on SAP ECC enhancements related to warehouse management and materials flow.
  • Provide technical support and lead small-scale


Main Requirements:

  • Proven experience in GxP-regulated environments with solid knowledge of GAMP 5 standards.
  • Skilled in supporting and maintaining business-critical IT systems, including MES and SAP ERP.
  • Strong understanding of IT system architecture, covering hardware, software, data, networks, and security.
  • Proficient in managing system integrations and interfaces.
  • Background in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Hands-on experience with the Tulip platform and SAP ECC.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow.
  • Project management capabilities.
