Your new role












  • An exciting opportunity for multiple Manufacturing Biotechnologiststo join our team!










  • You will work as part of a shift team (shifts will include evening and weekend work), performing hands-on manufacturing of an autologous commercially licensed, Nobel prize winning CRISPR-Cas9 gene-edited product according to Good Manufacturing Practice within a highly controlled clean room environment.










  • Complete quality related documentation including manufacturing batch records, forms, and logbooks to a high level of GDP following all relevant standard operating procedures and instructions.










  • Assist with change controls, deviations, and risk assessments.










  • Support daily housekeeping activities, including but not limited to cleaning, stock control, and ordering materials.










  • Prepare standard operating procedures and prepare batch records, work instructions, and forms.










  • Participate in the qualification, calibration, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.

About you












  • Experience or an educational background in stem cells, cellular therapies, or cell banking.










  • You will have an awareness/understanding of a GMP cleanroom production environment.










  • Excellent computer skills with experience in Microsoft packages.










  • You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write reports/record output and an excellent attention to detail.










  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.










  • The Manufacturing Biotechnologist must complete an initial training programme to develop relevant practical skills satisfactorily.

Qualifications












  • You will hold a BSc in a Life Science or a related subject or equivalent relevant experience.
