Manager Biostatistics (Senior Biostatistician) – Innovative International Pharma– UK - Hybrid / Remote


We have partnered with a renowned global pharma, who are looking for exceptional Biostatisticians to join their pioneering and innovative team within Global Statistics, data science and Real-World Data Science Function. This is a cross functional role, in Oncology studies.



Desirable Experience for this role includes:


  • Working as part of cross-functional, global teams
  • Clinical Trial experience
  • Acting independently as a Study Statistician
  • Support statistician or lead a small study
  • Protocol Development
  • SAP development
  • Either author or review and feedback
  • CRF Development
  • CDISC Experience
  • Clinical Design
  • Solid Tumour Oncology
  • Researching innovative solutions and training other statisticians
  • Mostly Phase I/II combined studies, may support Phase III


How will you be a success?


  • Experience leading a study
  • Significant experience of applying statistical methods in biomedical research, Pharma, CRO, Academia or the Healthcare industry, gained on a global basis.
  • Advanced and broad knowledge of statistical methods, along with an understanding of industry practices related to the statistical analysis of clinical and biomarker data.
  • In-depth familiarity with processes and procedures in data management and programming
  • Good knowledge of medical literature, clinical, regulatory and commercial landscape
  • Knowledge and skills in SAS & ideally some R
  • The ability to understand, implement, and explain complex statistical methodology,


Qualifications:


  • PhD preferred or MSc with 3+ years experience in clinical trial design or via an internship
  • Evidence of statistical leadership and a proven track record of scientific achievement and project influence.
  • Analytical mind-set, intellectual curiosity, eager for continuous learning and passionate about translating data into business-critical evidence.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as to work in interdisciplinary contexts outside statistics. Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English language are required.
  • Proficiency in SAS required.
