Bespak is looking for a permanent, multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer on the King’s Lynn site, PE30 2JJ. The salary for the role is between £47k and £53K, (this includes the shift allowance) plus a discretionary annual bonus. Benefits include 28 days leave plus bank holidays, 8% company pension contribution to employees 3%, onsite parking and medical / dental / health / life assurance.

Working Pattern - Mon 6am to 6pm / Tue 6am to 6pm / Wed 6pm to 6am / Thu 6pm to 6am

Fri+Sat+Sun+Mon off - Start the next shift on Tue at 6am for your next 4-day pattern.

Aa Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of moulding, assembly, and packaging systems within our operational areas. You will be working on a range of assets, mainly cam driven assembly systems and a variety of injection moulding machines ranging from 50t to 300t incorporating automation and robotics, therefore this role will offer an opportunity to work with a variety of equipment.

We are a pharmaceutical CDMO, producing diverse medical devices (pMDI - asthma inhalers, SMI - soft mist inhalers, DPI - dry powder inhalers) in a safe, clean, temperature-controlled environment. As a Maintenance Engineer your duties will include:

  • Reactive repairs and undertake root cause investigations.

  • Schedule and undertake PPM.

  • Provide systems maintenance knowledge, training, and advice.

  • Assist with the installation, debug and validation of process equipment.

  • Identify/propose process and systems improvement opportunities.

    Maintenance Engineer, key skills and experience:

  • Level 3 engineering / HNC / degree (or equivalent) is desirable.

  • Dual skilled, mechanical, and electrical

  • PLC understanding and CMMS experience.

  • Working knowledge of statistical control systems.

  • Able to use drawing manuals and circuit diagrams.

    We are a pharmaceutical Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) that offers development and manufacturing solutions for a variety of medications, including medical devices such as pressurized metered dose inhalers (pMDI - asthma inhalers), soft mist inhalers (SMI), dry powder inhalers (DPI), nasal sprays and medical check valves.

    King’s Lynn is a market town steeped in history with an hourly direct rail link to Cambridge (1 hour) and London (2 hours). The location is close to the beautiful Norfolk coastline and is an hour’s drive to the cities of Norwich and Peterborough. The population is nearly 43,000 and offers various amenities, including supermarkets, a shopping centre, restaurants, 9 junior schools 3 high schools, 5 GP practices, a hospital and College.

    This would suite someone in a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician / Engineer, Electro / Mechanical, Engineering Technician, Electrical & Mechanical, Engineering Technician, or recently qualified Engineering Level 3 / HNC Apprenticeship role.
